  • At noon: Stan Irinie from Sâcele-Brasov saw above the city of Bucovina (...) a large star with many rays appear and in the night it rose higher and flew towards the Russians; afterwards it returned to the West, where the rays extinguished. Thus the star revealed itself for 4 months. This was during the war between the Russians, the French and the Germans Biblioteca Academiei, "manuscris românesc" 1346 f:2V.{.source} This could be a "mirror" of ejected explosives but is still interesting.
