Location: North Weald Airfield, Essex, England: Flight Lt. Jimmy Salandin took off in his Meteor jet at 4:15pm and climbed up to 16,000 ft. When he was over Southend, England, two circular UFOs shot past him at 9o’clock high. One UFO was silvery and the other gold in color. A third UFO appeared ahead of him on a collision course.
