Add intersphinx documentation and clean syntax

Browse source 
* I replaced the `:external:` syntax by a cleaner one, as suggested by
  @maiska.
* An implicit external reference is now impossible.
* Fix duplicate labels warnings
* Minor typos, including the word "orthographicallly" :)
