This leaves an absolute treasure trove of data for companies to potentially abuse or otherwise leave open to being hacked and leaked to the internet. This has happened and will continue to happen until every service we rely on every day can implement robust, technical privacy protections into their services, not just pinkie-promises in their privacy policies to not abuse your data.
