We also explicitly set the output path in a .bazelrc to the user specific path. The rc file is mounted into the container and overrides the host rc. Also adding automatic stop in case start is called and a containers is already running. Sym links like bazel-out and paths bazel outputs should generally work with this change. Bazel build container
This container enables running Bazel inside a container, with the host cache mounted.
To use the container, run
source container.sh
startBazelServer
You can then execute Bazel commands like you normally would do, as the sourced bazel
function shadows binaries you might have in your path:
bazel query //...
To terminate the container, which is running as daemon in the background, execute
stopBazelServer
