This is a response to a heavy demand from users annoyed by the need to cancel many downloads and the wish to be able to select what to DL in a channel. We could create a popup with a autdownload checkbox (unchecked by default) possibly asking what to DL in the subscribed channel (everything/only last post/nothing) when subscribing to make auto-download a little more visible ...
