Christopher did an outstanding job of outlining the history of internet identity standards, and introduces [10 Principles of Self-Sovereign Identity](https://github.com/WebOfTrustInfo/self-sovereign-identity/blob/master/self-sovereign-identity-principles.md), currently in revision.
