// Will gather here all resources that specifically relate to Sovrin, and Indy. Gradually this file will grow with Sovrin related material. While '[awesome-decentralized-id](/README.md)' will be gradually thinned out, or actually it seems like that one should be more expansive, and this one more specific.. Whatever the case may be, just working out which proportions of what should be where.
Internet Identity Workshop is where the quest for concious, user-centric, identity began. Rebooting Web-of-Trust Workshops sprung from the IIW, focused on creating standards for decentralized identifiers, along with decentralized key managment\PKI. The United Nations 'Sustainable Development Goals' among which is for all the world to have access to a digital identity by 2020. The UN SDGs, blockchain, and the GDPR converged bringing much energy into the identity ecosystem.
